I realise it was my question and it is unfair to step away from it, but in reading your superb responses I feel you are the cream of the current Yahoo Answers contributors and I wish for that community to decide where the points and kudos lie.

I know professional stylist say that washing hair everyday is a big no no and I agree, but when I do just that my hair grows like crazy! Why is that, I got over 2 inches in less than 4 months.

Also what products are good to use on it, I like my curly look, but how do I tame it better?
I usually think I know what products work for me but I want the curls to lay down, after like 12 hours they get soo big on my head. I just want them to hang…how can I tame them better?
1 more thing if you don’t mind…, on the top of my head the hair looks thin b/c it’s been pulled out pretty bad.(A bun is my favorite style, I’ve been wearing them for years) but b/c my hair gets so big I pull it back tight so my head doesn’t look 2 times it’s normal size, I asked a pharmacist about prenatal pills and he says it’s ok. What about men’s rogain b/c it’s stronger by 3%. Or something to bring it back in…THANK YOU

I stopped using Pantene, Herbal Essenses, Sunsilk, Garnier, and all those other shampoo’s you see on so many commercials when I found a website called cosmeticsdatabase.com. Just click go straight to SkinDeep once you get there. Here you can learn the hazard rating of so many of your favourite products. Many have cancer causing agents, allergy causing, and much more. It includes things like deodorants, shampoo, face everything, makeup, nailcare. I’ve been using natural, organic shampoo’s ever since. Your skin and scalp soaks up all the chemicals you put on it. If you can’t pronounce something on the ingredients list, I’d be worried. (: Good luck and take care of yourself.

I’ve seen the infomercial many times. Could this product really work for me? My hair gets dryer, thicker, and frizzier as it reaches the ends. Not to mention my split ends that just KILL ME!
