i try to be very animal friendly, im vegetarian, i dont wear or use anything with leather or fur of any kind and i basically do whatever i can.

i just read a list of not cruelty free companies (theres A LOT) and my favorite hair products (garnier) and some of the make-up i use (maybelline) are on that list. but more importantly so is some of that skin care products i use are on that list. i have had some issues with oily skin and acne and i finally have something that works really well from clean and clear and neutrogena. plus, i have very unmanagable hair but garnier fructis products work for it. AND even the tampons i use (tampax) tests on animals!

i am in such a predicament here. i would write to all the companies but i dont think that will help my situation much, at least not right now anyway.

PLEASE i need some advice, or maybe product you think may work as replacements.

I really like my entire hair care line called Spartan Brand’s Triple Gro products and used it’s conditioning shampoo,rebuilder,and leave in tonic at home many times and are the only products that I’m really satisfied with it bringing health to the root of my hair.I’m thinking of bringing the washing set to my regular favorite salon, I remember someone telling that it’s rude to bring your own hair products in the salon even though before I brought some of my old hair products there.Is it really considered rude or is it okay?

about 2 years ago i was in a salon and picked up a magazine and i saw tracy ross telling about the hair products she uses and she liked a particular hair gel, but i for got the name of it, she said it’s like perm in a jar, don’t remember the name of the magazine though but she and the cast of girlfriends was telling about their favorite beauty and hair care products
